Part 3: Dress up & Celebrate! I took the girls to a Harvest Party at a local church, as Ella ballerina & Lily the CareBear. Next came home for warm tortilla soup, and then hit the street to trick or treat the neighbors and some nearby friends.

Halloween Fun 2010

Part 1: One of Chris' favorite traditions, making holiday sugar cookies. What great daddys, Chris & friend Clint, spent the afternoon with their girls bonding and baking delicious memories.

Part 2: The morning after our 1st family sleepover at the Adams house, Chris, Clint & Noelle, with a little help from the little people, carved up some creative designs to greet the Halloween trick or treaters.

Oh how the 2nd Child can surprise you!

This first one may look like a normal hair washing in the sink...no, it was to wash out the half of a travel sized shampoo from her hair! Shampoo that she got out of the bathroom AFTER her bath, AFTER she was dry and dressed AND in the hallway, had to be rinsed out and clothes changed.
Picture #2 in the purple dress-- This is how I found her one day in my bathroom, face caked with my night moisturizer cream so thick it's all over her hair too. AND, she wasn't done there, she also took my big powder brush and proceeded to paint the cream all over the drawers and edge of sink.
Ok- let me say, I really do keep a good eye on her. She's just always been so good at playing quiet and independently that I can go do other things. Ah, but she's now teaching me. These examples, plus another where she put a stool on top of the toilet to get into the cupboard above, all happened last month...yikes!

Bath Worms

Ok-pictures say it all...# 1. Ah, we love each other & are having so much fun playing "worms" after our bath. But then...#2 Lily's face! EH, I'm Stuck!..Ella, "He He! Look at that, that was funny."

Gotta Love the beach too!

Soft white sand to hot, sparkly black sand, and many different ones in between.

Jill & Marvie go to Snorkelers Paradise

Snorkel Excursion to Kealakekua Bay

One of my fondest memories of this trip is going to always be experiencing snorkeling with my mom, the NON-swimmer, NEVER snorkeled or ever cared to be IN the water Mom.

We were blessed with buy one get one free deals from an Island orientation we attended, and a lot of you know mom (marvie)...anything for a deal... OK, that's not the only reason.--she also loves me so much she knew I wouldn't want to go by myself, so she was my partner on two very exciting water trips.

One, being a day trip we took that traveled to the beautiful, clear, and full of coral and fish,Kealakekua Bay. This is also the site of Captain John Cook's Monument. This snorkel site is only available by boat or a long hike. And, on the way to the bay we were fortunate enough to see bottle-nose dolphins, Hawaiian spinner dolphins, AND a mama & baby humpback whale.

The other water excursion the two of us experienced was a NIGHT snorkel to watch Manta Rays! We floated on top of the water above watching the graceful creatures come eat the plankton we lured to the area with our lights. This was so amazing, I wish I could have videoed it for everyone to see. Check out this site to see someone else's. : )

Amazing Hawaiian vacation this March 15-24 with the girls and grandmas! We made lots of memories...from snorkeling with manta rays, watching a luau, playing at beaches, visiting a rainforest, & a volcano.
